Utah State Aggies Football Uniforms

Back to the College Football Uniforms

The Aggies revealed their latest rebranding in the spring of 2012 in conjunction with Utah State’s future move into the Mountain West Conference. Among the notable changes was the inclusion of an all-new color palette, primary logo and custom font.

Pewter gray is now included with traditional navy blue and white school colors. Replacing the former “U STATE” royal blue logo that has been in place since the mid 1990s is a navy blue “STATE” wordmark in front of a stylized “U”.

An all-navy helmet with white graphics debuted in 2012, the first time the Aggies donned a blue shell in school history. Utah State’s current Nike Pro Combat System of Dress uniforms feature stylized collars and “UTAH STATE” wordmarks across each option.

The Aggies added an all-gray alternate with navy and white accents in 2012 to go along with updated white road and home navy choices. Prior to the redesign, Utah State’s Nike uniforms lacked gray, had a tiny “UTAH STATE” wordmark and featured a horizontal contrasting stripe that snaked its way around the entire jersey.

The less-busy approach with the 2012 revamp was a good decision. Russell Athletic outfitted Utah State prior to the Aggies’ current deal with the swoosh.
