Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Football Uniforms

Back to the College Football Uniforms

Louisiana Tech’s known for its bright red shell with blue and white graphics, a look that’s remained unchanged since 1968.

Subtle alterations to stripes and shades of blue have been seen within the program’s “State T” primary logo, but nothing substantial enough to notice. The Bulldogs and head coach Sonny Dykes brought back blue pants to wear on the road in 2010 after a short hiatus. The bright pants feature stripes of red, white and red of equal thickness stretching from the hip to the knee.

La. Tech’s preferred home choice remains its patented blue on white ensemble, but a red alternate has been seen on occasion at home. Nike’s current threads for the Bulldogs feature thick stripes at the shoulder with blocked lettering outlined in team colors.

On La. Tech’s home white top, blue numerals are outlined in red, a perfect match to the bright road pants. The Bulldogs have stayed true to their classic look the better part of three decades and under Russell Athletic before Nike, often donned its familiar red helmet-white top-blue pants combination.

During the Luke McCown era in the early 2000s, the Bulldogs’ all-blue monochrome alternate was one of the brightest on-field threads in college football. La. Tech’s shoulder stripes scream tradition and those won’t be leaving the program anytime soon.
